LLDPE Geomembrane Liner is a kind of liner low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) geomembrane manufactured with the highest quality resin specifically formulated for flexible geomembranes. It is manufactured via triple co-extrusion technique by the most advanced automatic equipment which is imported from Italy.
Yingfan lldpe geomembranes all meet or exceed US GRI GM17 and ASTM standards. Its main function is anti-seepage and isolation. It is designed to be used when higher elongation properties are required. It is similar to HDPE geomembrane, but is lower in density, thus being more flexible.

Types of LLDPE Geomembrane Liners
Generally Speaking, Yingfan LLDPE geomembranes have two types, one is smooth LLDPE geomembrane, another is textured LLDPE geomembrane according to the surface of LLDPE geomembrane.
Textured LLDPE geomembrane also can be divided into two types, one is both sides textured, another is one side textured one side smooth. Textured LLDPE geomembrane has better frictional performance.

Production Process
At present, there are two manufacturing techniques, one is triple co-extrusion vertical blow technique, another is flat extrusion technique.

The production process of Yingfan LLDPE geomembrane of vertical blow technique are as follows: firstly mix two materials, LLDPE resin and anti-agent;then all materials enter the extruder, and form the LLDPE geomembrane after being extruded and blown by the extruder; then cooling, LLDPE geomembrane is packaged in rolls and woven bag outside.

About shipping: Yingfan LLDPE geomembrane products are usually shipped by sea from Shanghai port, or other customized port in China. The width is usually 5.7meters or 5.8meters for 20ft container and 7m or 8m for 40ft container. For small samples, they can be shipped by sea, by air or express way.

The processes of install LLDPE geomembrane are as follows:
a. Laying LLDPE geomembrane,the laying base should be solid and flat.
b. Hot Welding: using welding machines, including plastic welding automatic wedge welder, plastic welding hand extrusion welder, and plastic welding hot air welding gun. The overlap of two pieces LLDPE geomembrane is about 10 cm. Adjusting the pressure,temperature and speed, then you can start.
How to Repair LLDPE Geomembrane ?
As we all know, LLDPE geomembrane is famous for its anti-seepage property, so when the LLDPE geomembrane is punctured or damaged by sharp objects or others, we need to repair it. If the damaged part is small, just clean the damaged part and its surroundings, and then use plastic welding hand extrusion welder to repair. HDPE vs LLDPE Geomembrane?
HDPE Geomembrane is high density polyethylene geomembrane,LLDPE geomembrane is liner low density polyethylene geomembrane.
According to the water vapor permeability test of ASTM E96, the permeability coefficients of HDPE and LLDPE are both less than 1.0*10-13g*cm (cm2*s*Pa). Therefore, both HDPE and LLDPE have excellent anti-seepage properties, they are both widely used in environmental friendly projects.
At the same time, thanks to the characteristics of polyethylene, both HDPE and LLDPE have good chemical resistance, and both can directly contact the toxic leachate in the landfill.
